Questions about working with a sourcing agent
Can you source a product that is not listed on the website?
Yes, you can submit an enquiry outside the listed categories. Include the specification, quantity and destination. We first assess whether we can identify a suitable supply option and confirm the scope of our work.
Do you act as the supplier or as a sourcing agent?
Our main role is as a sourcing and trading intermediary. For some assignments we may quote for direct supply. The quotation or agreement identifies the commercial counterpart and explains our role before the transaction proceeds.
How is the sourcing commission agreed?
For brokerage work, the commission, who pays it and when it is payable are agreed with the relevant parties before the deal proceeds. It depends on the assignment; there is no universal commission rate published on this website.
Can we request samples before ordering?
Sample availability, cost, delivery and approval requirements are discussed with the supplier. Where samples or technical approvals are required, we agree the process before the production order proceeds.
